ARTISAN HYBRID
Artisan Hybrid field cloths are artisan-style silk screened prints set against a digitally printed PvraPrint backdrop.
This is an extensive process that requires two full-scale print procedures. The benefit of this process is the soft surface of Deluxe L.E. Suede is heat-pressed multiple times, giving it a more dense feel, which also gives the artisan silk screen higher ink resiliency.
ABOUT DELUXE L.E. SUEDE
Deluxe L.E. Suede is the softest and thickest of our suede fabrics and is produced with a soft felt backing, giving your playfield extra depth and weight. It weighs nearly 1/2 a pound (7.1 oz) without ink or stitching. It has become one of our favorites by far because of its premium S-Tier quality and incredible playability.
NOTE ABOUT INK RESLIENCE
Due to its thick fiber, printing on DLES is extremely challenging. The unavoidable downside is ink cracking/creasing that you will notice over time. We make a conscious effort to lay the ink as smoothly as possible in exchange for color vibrancy.
We stand by our belief that ink cracking is another way to show your battle scars and should not play a factor in the value your field cloth.
NOTE/DISCLAIMER
We have had consistent success in the past making the final product often look better than the digital mockup, because we often tone down the colors in the mockup in hopes to under-promise/over-deliver.
That said, there is always the risk that each fabric may treat the ink resins differently.
